Visit to École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL) and its centers and laboratories, offering an in-depth immersion into the institution’s activities in education, research, and innovation. The visit will be followed by a special encounter with Prof. Anna Fontcuberta i Morral, recently appointed President of EPFL, who will share her vision and key strategic directions for the future.

16:40 Presentation of EPFL by:

• Dr. Katharina Füglister, Director, International Affairs, EPFL
• Prof. Edouard Bugnion, Vice-president for Innovation and Impact, EPFL

16:55 Exploring AI at EPFL: presentation by Scarlet Schwiderski-Grosche, Executive Director of the AI Center, followed by an exchange with the participants

17:35 Visits to centers and laboratories divided into 3 groups:

• Group 1: AI and Health
• Group 2: Robotics and Health
• Group 3: Energy and physics of nuclear fusion

18:30 Cocktail reception with addresses by:

• Prof. Anna Fontcuberta i Morral, President, EPFL
• Raymond Loretan, President, Diplomatic Club of Geneva

19:30 End
